How report files are handled
After you select an image, your browser creates a preview locally on your device. It may use native browser features to find possible QR codes or barcodes; you must confirm, adjust or remove each suggested box. Names, identity numbers, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, dates of birth, patient IDs and other text identifiers still need manual review and masking. After you confirm, the system redraws the pixels into a new image with solid redactions, without copying image metadata such as EXIF. Selected report files are not currently uploaded to EvidPass servers, and their medical contents are not read. Automatic PDF redaction is not complete: a PDF will not be described as automatically redacted until its pages are locally flattened and hidden text layers removed.
Print & share
Consumer Print / Save as PDF and private query-result sharing are not enabled. This notice does not record user consent.
A report may reveal a condition or medicine you searched for. Printed pages and locally saved PDFs may be seen by others. Check your device and save location before printing.
Never share a private result URL, query ID, login information or health-query content as a public link.
How case entries and official-source searches are handled
Condition selections and case choices support the current session and query flow. Case-choice entries currently remain in the page session and must be entered again after a refresh or clear. The server stores account-linked case shells, condition search criteria and query-unlock records. Clearing the current entries does not delete server-side account records. Requests to external official sources send only controlled search terms, such as condition names, medicine names or product identifiers. They do not send case-choice entries, report files, email addresses, account IDs or internal query IDs to those sources. These records are not used to determine whether a medicine is suitable for an individual.
Account-related records
Signed-in free-use counts, followed topics and family profiles require associated account records on the server. Followed topics and family profiles are no longer read from or written to browser-local records. Avoid entering unnecessary personal or health identifiers into demonstration family names or followed topics.
What the service does not currently do
The current report flow does not perform medical OCR, diagnosis or treatment inference. Unsupported conditions do not generate medicine conclusions. Official regulatory records, medicine labels, clinical-trial records and medical literature are presented for information and source tracing, not individualized treatment advice. Regulatory decisions from different jurisdictions are not combined into a single approval claim.
Before expanding the Beta
Any future processing of real report content, additional medical sources or other sensitive data will require updated notices and user controls, along with information about retention, service providers, cross-border transfers and user rights.
Support and privacy requests
During the Beta, contact support@evidpass.com for support, account questions, privacy requests, deletion or correction requests, and complaints.
Describe your request briefly. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, identity documents or real patient reports. Automatic data export and deletion are not available, and no fixed response time is promised. noreply@evidpass.com is for outgoing system messages only; do not send requests to that address.
